The Bucharest-Llfov Regional Development Agency (ADRBI) - a non-profit public utility organization, launches, as a partner, the iBuy project (Fostering the role of public authorities as demanders of innovation through public procurement) INTERREG EUROPE within the Research and Innovation priority. This project intends to study a common challenge in the partner territories, namely the need to promote and effectively implement the public procurement programs that stimulate innovation (IPP), co-financed by the European Structural and Investment Funds. These types of programs are designed to determine the progress of public authorities that act as innovators, a basic concept in the Europe 2020 strategy. IBuy aims to develop innovative models for mobilizing beneficiaries and financiers interested in the public and private environment, increasing the number and quality of the results of the instruments developed and the impact of their policies. All of these are based on entrepreneurial discovery and promote a European perspective, ensuring the sustainability and transferability of the obtained results.
